How to play Never Have I Ever
Never Have I Ever is perfect for game nights, sleepovers, surprise parties, or even a simple get-together with friends! It’s easy to learn and play and requires no special equipment:
Players sit in a circle and take turns saying statements that start with “Never have I ever…” about an activity they haven’t done.
For example: “Never have I ever gone skinny dipping.”
If a player has done the activity, they admit it by taking a drink or putting one finger down, depending on the rules you’ve decided beforehand. If nobody reveals doing the activity, the person who made the statement takes a drink or puts one finger down.
This game continues until all players but one has put all ten of their fingers down. That last person is the winner! For the drinking version of the game, you can play as long as you want but remember to drink responsibly.

Playing conversation games like Never Have I Ever is a great way to break the ice and get to know your friends better. For the best experience, make sure to set some ground rules beforehand:
Setting up: Get ready for the game!
Gather a group of participants around a table or in a circle.
Decide if the game will be with drinks or if you’re using your fingers to keep track of points.
Decide which player starts the game and in which direction the game moves.
Playing the game: Let the fun begin!
The first player starts the game by saying, “Never have I ever…” followed by an activity they haven’t done.
If any player has done the activity, they must indicate it by folding a finger or taking a sip from their drink. If no one has done it, the player who made the statement takes a drink or folds down one finger.
The next player takes their turn and makes a new Never Have I Ever statement.
Once a player has all ten fingers folded down or finished their drink, it’s time to bow out of the game.
The game continues until one player is left. That person becomes the winner!
Bonus tip: Add in a few forfeits or dares once a player is eliminated from the game for extra fun. These can be anything from singing a song, telling an embarrassing story, or performing a funny dance!
